Children of all ages enjoy Amico at Crayola Experience event in Easton, Pennsylvania

• Amico gaming console demos at flagship Crayola Experience
• Kids and parents play three popular family-friendly games
• Intellivision plans more Amico roadshows this year

IRVINE, CA – August 23, 2021 – Intellivision Entertainment wowed children and adults with Amico, its family-friendly gaming system, at the Crayola Experience in Easton, Pennsylvania, last month.

Amico is a new video game system that will redefine family entertainment with a broad variety of family-friendly games free of profanity and violence. Amico – the Italian word for friend – comes with two easy-to-use color touchscreen controllers and gameplay for any skill level so players of all backgrounds may truly enjoy gaming together.

Intellivision brought Amico to the flagship Crayola Experience in Easton to show kids and families who were enjoying the dozens of creative activities and attractions throughout the 65,000 square feet attraction. Easton is the birthplace of Crayola crayons, and visitors to the Experience may star in their own coloring page, name, and wrap their own Crayola crayon, embark on a 4D coloring adventure, and learn how crayons are made in a live manufacturing show. The brand’s other attractions are in Orlando, Florida; at the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota; Plano, Texas; and Chandler, Arizona.

“The response from kids and adults was overwhelmingly positive as they played Astrosmash, Shark! Shark! and Emoji Charades,” said Tommy Tallarico, CEO of Intellivision Entertainment. “It’s so exciting to put Amico in front of kids and watch them immediately begin to enjoy the games. They smile, they laugh, and they interact with each other. And then their parents want to get involved, too!”

Every game on Amico encourages group participation and teamwork through "couch co-op" style gameplay, while also offering single-player modes. Games are rated E for Everyone or E10+. There is no foul language, graphic violence, blood, or sexual content. There are no advertisements, downloadable content, loot boxes, or in-game purchases. And, to ensure parental piece-of-mind, Amico does not connect gaming with the Internet. With positive reinforcement parental controls, Intellivision is committed to offering products that parents feel confident about.

Intellivision Entertainment plans to offer more opportunities to try out Amico during an upcoming roadshow and other pop-up events around the country. Check out www.Intellivision.com for more information and schedules.
